Page of Wands description

The Page of Wands uses her (or his) wand to survey the landscape and find direction. Wherever she is headed, she will achieve great things because she is focused and innovative. The salamanders on her tunic represent transformation and the suit of wands are associated with work to be done. This means she can not achieve her vision without putting in the work. Her red feather is a sign that there is more to come in a certain area of her development. A special skill she is honing. She is looking up over the wand, a sign that this work will bring her up to the next level. The three pyramids in the background are also a sign of more to come in her advancement.

Upright meaning

The Page of Wands appears when opportunities and new horizons are opening up for you. This is the beginning phase of a project. You are open and willing to give it a go. This is a good time to experiment and try out a few of your ideas so you can better understand how they will play out. Your goals and aspirations are crystal clear. The energy of this card is more about mapping out your strategy then taking any action. If you’re feeling restless, remember to take it one step a time. Do your research. It could benefit you to work with a mentor or teacher who has walked a similar path and help you avoid the mistakes that they might have made. This card can also represent a messenger that brings you news or information; you can trust this person.

Reversed meaning

When reversed, it means your facing resistance to visualizing your dreams. A project or opportunity has been lost or delayed. You are eager to get to the next level, but obstacles (external and/or internal) are holding you back. Perhaps the last strategy failed and now you’re not sure where to go next. Remember why you started in the first place. This could be a sign that it’s time to reevaluate, change directions, or choose a different path. There could be other ways to approach this! It could be helpful to talk to a peer or mentor about the hurdles in your path, and see if they have any fresh ideas.
