The Magician description

A vibrant, yellow background illuminates the Magician as he casts his spell. The Magician is in command of his power. He has all four suits of the pentacles laid out on the altar of potential: a cup, a wand, a sword, and a pentacle. This shows that you have all of the tools you need to succeed. The flowers in the foreground suggest that he is in an enclosed, sacred space. The roses and lilies symbolize life and death. Where you focus, life with thrive and where you neglect, things will wither. In other words, where attention goes, energy flows! The infinity symbol over his head is a sign of spiritual potential. The snake belt, biting its own tail, pulls energies above and below you for use in the present. Notice how is pointing up and down. As above, so below.

Upright meaning

Upright, the Magician shows that you are grounded and capable of manifesting anything that you set your mind to. This card appears when you are setting intentions, bringing ideas into reality, having flashes of insight, and benefiting from chance encounters. Synchronicities abound! Utilize all of your resources to pull off this epic transformation. Write down ideas as they come to you and pay attention to signs, dreams, etc. You may be feeling an energetic shift or you may be doing a lot of energy work (like reiki). The connection to spirit is strong right now. Bend with the law of attraction, show up as your full self, use all of the tools and your disposal, and you will see remarkable results.

Reversed meaning

Reversed Magician is a sign that you are not being clear about your intentions. The universe is waiting to grant all of your wishes, if only you would dream something up and then say it out loud. Perhaps go even further. Sing your intention, write it down, burn the paper, and sprinkle the ashes in a river under a full moon. This card can appear in reverse when we are up against a tricky situation or person. Now you see it, now you don’t! It can also be a result of a negative chance encounter with someone that throws off your energy. Get back on track, and put some thought into your intentions and your actions. Consider elevating your vibration with some energy work like reiki, yoga, meditation. Avoid numbing your intuition or losing your sobriety. Do whatever helps you tap into your full potential physically, spiritually, mentally.

The Magician quote

““You have resources yet to be unleashed. Make bold, courageous choices. Live as though you have the power to change the world – because you do.”
